Ramacrisna’s 2023

For the seventh consecutive year, Ramacrisna secured a place in the ranking of the top 100 NGOs in the country. This recognition is attributed to its work characterized by transparency, ethics, governance, and accountability.

“Being listed again in 2023 is as exciting as it was in 2017 when we were listed for the first time. It’s recognition of serious, enduring work, accomplished with many hands. We will continue to dedicate ourselves to deserving a place here many more times, generating positive impacts in society and helping transform more stories through our projects. This is our mission,” celebrated Solange Bottaro, Vice President of Ramacrisna at the time of the award.

In total, the Institute provided 9,290 services, with an additional 96,552 in partnership with the Municipality of Betim. These services included activities related to art, culture, education, digital inclusion, sports, low-cost meals, and food support for families in extreme socio-economic vulnerability.

Moreover, 2,299 food donations, received through partnerships, were delivered to students’ families, benefiting 9,196 individuals. In terms of meals, Ramacrisna provided 91,533 at its headquarters, in addition to 59,960 snacks. These positive figures are only possible due to the intensive work of the 648 employees, who underwent 1,636 hours of training to further improve their performance.

The support of partners was also fundamental for project development, with 14 private partnerships and 12 with the Municipality of Betim established.
