Event Will Bring Together Great Musicians from the Capital of Minas Gerais to Celebrate the 19th Anniversary of the Ramacrisna Philharmonic Orchestra

This month, the Ramacrisna Philharmonic Orchestra celebrates 19 years of history marked by dedication, talent, and the promotion of culture. To commemorate this milestone, the Ramacrisna Institute has prepared an exciting concert featuring the greatest hits of international rock from the 60s to the 90s. The event will take place this Friday, the 23rd, at 7:00 PM, at the Cultural Center of the Ramacrisna Institute in Betim.

“Classics of Rock,” headlined by the Ramacrisna Philharmonic Orchestra, will feature a special band assembled specifically for the occasion, including traditional musicians from Belo Horizonte such as singers Geosh Versieux and Ayla Manso, along with a lyrical vocal quartet featuring Ariadna Fernandes, Joyce Hayabusa Barros, Wagner Soares, and Samuel Goetz. The band will also include guitarist Sivan and electric bassist Matheus Martins.

The repertoire, curated by conductor Eliseu Barros, will bring to life the greatest hits of bands like Led Zeppelin, Queen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Guns ‘N Roses, The Beatles, and Metallica. “We will merge the richness of classical music with the energy of rock from the 60s to the 90s, creating a unique experience for the audience. With a repertoire that includes the biggest hits from iconic bands and the participation of renowned musicians, we aim to deliver an unforgettable night that honors our history and inspires future generations through music,” says Eliseu.

The vice-president of the Ramacrisna Institute, Solange Bottaro, is emotional when speaking about the Orchestra’s journey since its formation. “Seeing the evolution of the Orchestra over these 19 years is a source of great pride for all of us. We have trained many musicians during this time. Our talented young artists are highly dedicated and have elevated the Orchestra to a high level, participating in major musical productions and sharing the stage with international artists,” she says.
