Find out more about Incentive Laws and solidarity actions and start 2025 on the right foot
Starting the year with a gesture of solidarity, such as a donation to a social institution, can be more than just an altruistic attitude. For companies, supporting social causes generates positive impacts that go beyond the financial field.
This is because these actions promote real transformations in society and reinforce their commitment to corporate social responsibility, which is essential in an increasingly competitive market.In addition to direct donations, companies can contribute via Incentive Laws.
These laws are powerful tools that allow individuals and companies to direct part of what they pay in taxes to support social causes. Through these laws, such as the Rouanet Law and the Sports Incentive Law, it is possible to fund cultural, sports and social welfare projects, generating tax benefits for donors. This support strengthens social institutions and promotes the well-being of various communities, creating a cycle of positive transformation.

Incentive Laws offer a unique opportunity for companies to direct part of their taxes to finance social projects without affecting their planned budget. This strategy enables the integration of social responsibility and intelligent financial management, promoting a significant impact on communities and in various areas such as education, culture, health and social inclusion.
In this way, in addition to supporting transformative causes, Incentive Laws allow companies to become actively involved in building a fairer and more equal future, while at the same time maintaining their financial health. By adopting this practice, organizations not only contribute to the common good, but also strengthen their institutional image, improve relationships with stakeholders and position themselves as agents of change, expanding their role in strengthening society.
Donating goes beyond a simple transfer of resources; it is an act that generates a cycle of positive impact. Companies that invest in social causes reap benefits such as:
Internal strengthening: Employees tend to feel more engaged and proud to work for a company that values social impact;
For beneficiaries, donations open doors to previously inaccessible opportunities, such as access to quality education, digital inclusion, cultural activities and support for a better future, for example.
In the case of the Ramacrisna Institute, the funds received via Incentive Laws are used to maintain and create projects to assist people in situations of social vulnerability. Sport in Movement, for example, is run by the Ramacrisna Institute, with sponsorship from Vale, Goldman Sachs Banco, Goldman Sachs Corretora and Rede Itaú through the Federal Sports Incentive Law. The project benefits 120 people directly and 480 indirectly in the Vianópolis region, in Betim, through 7-a-side soccer, futsal, shuttlecock, volleyball, judo and basketball activities which, in addition to their sporting nature, help to develop the whole individual and train them to exercise citizenship and practice leisure.
The Vencer, Acreditar, Lutar, Engajar (VALE) (Win, Believe, Fight, Engage) project is sponsored by Vale through the Federal Sports Incentive Law. The initiative aims to benefit 400 people directly and 1,600 people indirectly, with the practice of chess, 7-a-side soccer, futsal, shuttlecock, volleyball and judo.
Starting the year with a donation to institutions is more than a gesture of solidarity; it’s a declaration of commitment to society. As well as having an immediate impact, it inspires a continuous cycle of empathy and responsibility throughout the year.
Companies that invest in social projects not only contribute to the well-being of the community. They also position themselves as leaders of transformation, capable of influencing other organizations to follow suit. This attitude can be a competitive differentiator in the market and strengthen relationships with clients and partners.
So take the first step. There are currently four projects available for fundraising at Ramacrisna. Find out more about them and be part of our chain of good.
