Vocational courses open doors in the technology market

Discover how to become qualified in tools such as AutoCAD, which can open doors in the market, guarantee better salaries, and transform your career.

In a scenario of accelerated digital transformation, companies are looking for qualified professionals who are proficient in technical and technological tools. For this reason, vocational courses focused on software and tools are increasingly seen as a competitive advantage in the job market. But more than that: they are an urgent necessity for those who want to seize real opportunities.

According to a survey by Serasa Experian, 53% of small and medium-sized companies are looking for training courses to transform their operations and grow sustainably. Similarly, the study “Future of the World of Work for Brazilian Youth” revealed that 67.6% of organizations identify the lack of training opportunities as one of the main challenges faced by young people. This shows that access to courses that keep pace with changes in the world of work is essential.

The focus on tools and software, such as AutoCAD, for example, strengthens this training. This knowledge is directly applicable in sectors such as engineering, architecture, design, and industry, which are highly technical and require solid technical training.

What is the outlook for the job market focused on tools and software?

The Brazilian Industrial Development Agency (ABDI) projects that digitization could generate more than 1 million skilled jobs by 2030. In addition, the institution states that a large part of these jobs will be in professions that require technical training and knowledge of design, planning, and production software.

Some of the most sought-after courses today are AutoCAD (2D and 3D), SolidWorks/Revit, advanced Excel, Photoshop and Illustrator, and ERP systems and industrial management.

For CAD designers, for example, the starting salary ranges from R$ 1,800 to R$ 3,500. A technician with professional training in AutoCAD earns an average of R$ 4,500. Finally, freelancers earn around R$ 1,000 per project.

In addition, CAD professionals can work in a variety of sectors, such as:

  • Engineering and architecture offices;
  • Mechanical, furniture, and civil construction industries;
  • Urban planning and infrastructure;
  • Interior and product design.

Where to take the AutoCAD course

The AutoCAD course is one of the highlights of the professional training offered by the Ramacrisna Institute. Focusing on technical drawing and 3D modeling, it prepares students to work in areas such as civil engineering, architecture, and industrial design.

In class, students learn how to create 2D technical drawings and 3D models; concepts of geometry, orthogonal projection, and the Cartesian plane; the AutoCAD interface and commands; the difference between 2D and 3D environments; saving, organizing, and naming files; and interpreting and adapting real projects.

Classes are in person for students aged 16 and over. In addition, interested students must be at least enrolled in high school. Classes are held twice a week in the afternoon. In total, there are 110 class hours. Each class has 20 students.
