Ramacrisna Institute Launches Program to Train and Invest in Local Entrepreneurs

A new program launched in Betim will encourage entrepreneurship among young adults facing social vulnerability. The Entrepreneurship Circuit offers free business training workshops for individuals aged 18 to 40, residing in the Vianópolis region. The initiative is the result of a partnership between the Ramacrisna Institute and Weg, a leading company in electric machinery.

The Entrepreneurship Circuit will take place in two stages: initially, 30 participants will be selected to undergo comprehensive training, including classes on various areas relevant to entrepreneurs, such as agile methodology and customer service strategies. Subsequently, the top five students who excel during the course will receive personalized consultancy from SEBRAE professionals, along with a working capital of R$10,000 to start or strengthen their businesses, aiming for sustainable development.

“The program’s goal is to identify individuals with entrepreneurial potential and help develop these skills through formal education. We believe this is the path to assist them in transforming their stories, developing new careers, generating income, and invigorating the region’s economy,” evaluates Solange Bottaro, vice-president of the Institute.

Residents of the Vianópolis, Granjas Reunidas Califórnia, Santo Afonso, and Marimbá neighborhoods in Betim can apply for the selection process. Applications will be accepted until April 17th through the Ramacrisna Institute website. The selection results will also be made available on the website starting from April 18th, Thursday.
