How to take part in the young apprentice program?

Jovens de Futuro is an essential preparatory course for anyone who wants to become an apprentice at Ramacrisna and plans to enter the job market on the right foot. 

With a workload of 80 hours, the course equips students with crucial skills for the professional environment. In class, students learn everything from effective communication techniques to work ethics, customer service and interpersonal relationships, for example. In this way, they are better prepared for the challenges of the job market.

What skills are essential for the job market?

Jovens de Futuro provides students with a solid foundation so that they can face the job market with confidence. Classes are face-to-face and held three times a week.  Among the topics covered are: public speaking, essential techniques for standing out in job interviews, notions of professional ethics, and how to provide quality customer service, for example. These skills are fundamental to any profession and prepare young people to deal with the demands of the job market.

The course is exclusively for young people aged between 14 and 24 who live in Betim. To take part, you must be at least in the 9th year of elementary school. In addition, the course offers digital teaching material and uniforms, both provided by the Ramacrisna Institute, ensuring that all students have the necessary resources for their learning. 

The Young People of the Future course is not only a technical training course, but also an excellent gateway to the Adolescent Apprentice program. At the end of the course, students are referred to selection processes at partner companies, according to the profile and performance they demonstrate during the training. This referral enables young people to apply for apprenticeships, increasing their chances of gaining a position in the companies that collaborate with the project.

The impact of the young apprentice program on young people’s professional future

Jovens de Futuro not only prepares young people for the job market, but also represents a form of social and professional inclusion for teenagers in Betim. By being prepared for the Adolescent Apprentice program, students have the chance to join large companies, guaranteeing practical experience and real knowledge of the corporate environment.

Taking part in the Jovens de Futuro course is about more than just learning. It’s about preparing for a successful future, gaining the skills needed to excel in any professional field. The course gives young people the confidence they need to take the first step on their professional journey, with the opportunity to be sent directly to the selection processes of partner companies, starting their careers on a promising footing.

On completing the course, young people will be ready to face job interviews with confidence, taking into account the profile of the young person, the demands of the company and the location. The preference is for the student’s home to be close to the workplace. In this way, the young people are closer to being placed on the job market as apprentices, an excellent way to start their professional career.
