Investing in social projects is the key to reducing inequalities and building a fairer, more prosperous future for everyone
Did you know that investing in social projects can transform Brazil? These investments are not just solidarity actions; they are powerful strategies for reducing inequalities, generating opportunities, promoting education and strengthening the economy. Every real invested brings significant returns in human development and quality of life for society.
On this International Day of Human Solidarity, celebrated on December 20, understand how your help can transform lives.
How can investing in social projects help reduce inequalities?
Brazil is among the countries with the greatest social inequality in the world. Initiatives such as those of the Ramacrisna Institute combat social exclusion by offering quality education, professional training and cultural activities. In this way, these projects create opportunities for children and young people, increasing their chances of achieving a decent future and having a positive impact on their communities.
When you invest in social projects, you contribute to changing lives. This is because young people who previously had no prospects can become protagonists in local development, creating a multiplier effect of social impact.
Education is one of the fundamental pillars for Brazil’s progress. At the Ramacrisna Institute, programs such as CAER (Centro de Apoio Educacional Ramacrisna) and Adolescente Aprendiz use technology and training to prepare young people for the job market and the future.
As well as combating inequalities, social projects help to boost the economy. Professional training, such as the courses offered by Ramacrisna, reduces unemployment and increases family income. This boosts the local and national economy, generating a positive cycle of development.
Improvements for everyone
But it’s not just the students who see improvements in their lives. According to Ramacrisna’s impact report, each investment in the projects generates a significant return for the community:
CAER – for every R$1.00 invested, there is a return of R$3.62 for society. This is because 75% of those responsible for the students say that they are only able to work because the children are assisted by the project. As a result, family income has increased by around 65% thanks to the program;
Adolescent Apprentice – for every R$1.00 invested, there is a return of R$3.50 for society. The figure is justified by the average 25% increase in family income after the adolescent’s participation in the program. In addition, companies save on recruitment, training and adaptation;
Vocational courses – for every R$1.00 invested, there is a return of R$6.81 for society. In this way, training enables students to get better jobs in the market and, consequently, increase their family income.
Why support Ramacrisna Institute projects?
The Ramacrisna Institute is an example of how solidarity transforms lives and communities. Projects that promote education, culture, leisure and vocational training have a direct impact on the country’s future. With every young person prepared for the job market, with every child who has access to a quality education, Brazil takes a step towards a more promising future.
All this effort has a result: over the course of our 65-year history, more than 2 million people have had their lives transformed by our work. You too can be part of our chain of good. Get in touch and find out how you can help.
