Selo Doar is essential for strengthening trust and management in the Third Sector.
Selo Doar is one of the main certifications for Third Sector organizations in Brazil. Created by Certificadora Social (formerly Instituto Doar), its mission is to promote, validate, and highlight professionalism and transparency in the practices of non-profit institutions.
Thus, by earning the seal, the organization demonstrates that it complies with the Management, Transparency, and Donation Standards (PGTD). In other words, it meets a set of criteria that has become a benchmark in the country for assessing the quality of administration, social impact, and relationships with donors and partners.
Therefore, more than just a title, the Doar Seal acts as a guide for the internal improvement of organizations, helping to increase the clarity of their actions and strengthen the trust of companies and individual donors.
To receive the Doar Seal, organizations undergo a rigorous evaluation process that covers different areas of activity, all of which are essential for the credibility and sustainability of social work. Among the factors evaluated are, for example:
This thorough assessment ensures that only organizations that combine administrative efficiency, measurable impact, and ethics receive certification.
The Doar Seal is not only a recognition, but also a strategic tool. It:
Therefore, for companies seeking to invest in social projects, supporting an institution with the Doar Seal means having the guarantee that resources will be applied ethically and efficiently, generating concrete results.
Ramacrisna has held the Doar Seal since 2019. Now, in 2025, the Institute has renewed its certification once again. This reinforces the institution’s commitment to good governance, transparency in the application of resources, and the constant pursuit of excellence in the management of its projects.
Over 66 years of operation, Ramacrisna has impacted the lives of thousands of people through initiatives in education, culture, sports, digital inclusion, professional training, and social assistance. Therefore, having the Doar Seal is confirmation that this work is carried out with seriousness and commitment.
In addition to institutional renewal, 2025 brought another important milestone for Ramacrisna: Ramacrisna project analyst Sheyla Raquel and project coordinator Aline Fauez became the first professionals in Minas Gerais to receive the CRE – Certificate of Experienced Fundraiser.
The CRE is granted by the same Social Certification Agency responsible for the Doar Seal. The certification recognizes professionals with high technical capacity and extensive experience in fundraising for the third sector.
To obtain CRE certification, candidates must demonstrate at least eight years of experience in fundraising for civil society organizations. In addition, candidates must present significant results—such as having generated more than R$ 1 million in revenue for projects over the past five years.
The certification process involves:
First and foremost, CRE is a form of professional recognition and validation of technical capacity. In addition, it helps build credibility with donors. Finally, the Certification is a differentiator in the fundraising market.
The Doar Seal and CRE demonstrate that Ramacrisna and its team adhere to strict standards of quality and ethics. For companies, supporters, and partners, this means security: every resource invested is managed responsibly and directed to generate lasting social impact.
The combination of these two certifications reinforces that Ramacrisna is prepared to continue growing, forming solid partnerships, and transforming lives in Minas Gerais and Brazil. Learn more about the Institute’s work.
