Event Will Feature a Handicraft Fair, Cultural Performances, and a Gastronomic Products Exhibition
This Thursday, the 29th, the Ramacrisna Institute will host an event that promises to bring together art, culture, and flavors all in one place. The Talent Festival, an unprecedented initiative, aims to integrate students, staff, and the local community in a day filled with cultural performances, exhibitions, and delicious food. The initiative, conceived by Cleide Moura, coordinator of the Ramacrisna Institute library, seeks to reveal and value hidden talents both within and outside the Institute.
With a diverse program, the Festival will feature musical performances, artistic presentations, handicraft exhibitions, and artisanal gastronomy. Cleide Moura highlights the importance of the event for the community: “We want to provide a space where everyone can showcase their skills while creating an atmosphere of unity and exchange among participants. Everything that will be exhibited, as well as the musical performances, was prepared by students, staff, and residents of the community surrounding the Institute. This festival is a celebration of who we are and what we can share with one another.”
The vice president of the Institute, Solange Bottaro, emphasized the role of the Institute as a catalyst for opportunities: “Ramacrisna has always been committed to providing opportunities for growth and development for everyone involved. This festival is another example of how we can bring our community together, valuing the best of what each participant has to offer while encouraging them to explore their abilities.”
Abilities like those of the students from the Ramacrisna Educational Center (CAER), for example. Under the direction of William James, a student from Liverpool Hope University who is participating in an exchange program at the Institute, the students have prepared a play specifically for the occasion. “A theater performance can be a challenge for some students, but they embraced it, and it was a pleasure to teach them. I am honored to bring an English play like Romeo and Juliet to Brazil! I know deep in my heart that these students will give an excellent performance, and I believe they will make me very proud. They have been a blessing to me during my stay at Ramacrisna,” said William.
Project analyst Luciana Leite will be one of the gastronomic exhibitors with her famous honey cakes. She shares her excitement for the event. “I am very excited to be part of this initiative. It’s a chance to showcase my work while contributing to such a beautiful cause. I hope everyone enjoys my honey cakes as much as I enjoy making them,” says Luciana with a smile.
The Ramacrisna Institute’s Talent Festival will be open to the public, and everyone is invited to appreciate the local talents. The event will be held at the Ramacrisna Cultural Center from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
