Raíssa Cardoso Ferreira has been participating in projects at Instituto Ramacrisna for 4 years and 5 months ago she was hired as a photography instructor at Antenados Produtora.
During his career at the Institute, she acquired knowledge in several areas, such as music and robotics. But it was in audiovisual that she found herself and dreams of pursuing a career in the area. Know more about this story,.
The beginning of the story with Ramacrisna
Raíssa’s story with Ramacrisna begins when she joined the Ramacrisna Educational Support Center (CAER) in February 2018. There she participated in all the activities that were offered such as sports, guitar, computers and an Educational Robotics workshop.
Raissa has a great passion for everything that involves arts and her family has also always had a strong relationship with music, her parents play musical instruments and at CAER she had the opportunity to also develop her musical side by participating in the guitar and drum workshop, with professors José Antônio and Lucas.
During the workshop she joined other colleagues who also participated and formed a musical group. “Our group consisted of guitar, drums and percussion students. And the band gave us some performances at Ramacrisna and even outside the Institute, for the Secretary of Art and Culture of Betim, former Artistic-Cultural Foundation of Betim (Funarbe)”, she says. And to this day her involvement with music continues.
On this side of art, in addition to music, Raissa has shown her talent for drawings many times. She has already made several illustrations at Instituto Ramacrisna with chalk, decorating spaces such as the Professor Arlindo Corrêa da Silva Library.
In 2019, Raíssa went through a very complicated moment, which shook her emotionally: “Some changes happened and, many times, I didn’t feel well, I couldn’t concentrate on school or on things I liked to do because I didn’t feel well. will,” she recalls. Until the inscriptions for the Audiovisual course of Producer Antenados came out. “It was already an area that I had been interested in for a while, it was something incredible for me. I had focus again, a goal and that was a game changer. I focused on learning and little by little and that helped me to leave what shook me behind”, she says.
She started the course and in a short time, she stood out and had the opportunity to be hired as a young apprentice at the Producer. With audiovisual Raissa managed to work on creativity, her artistic side and fell in love with photography.
From student to employee
After being away in person from Producer Antenados, due to the pandemic and fulfilling her home learning contract. A new opportunity arose to return to the team at Antenados Produtora, as a photographer, video editor and photography instructor in the audiovisual course.
“I have been an employee for 5 months and I can say that it is a very rewarding experience. Being part of Ramacrisna brings me many good experiences and it is very good to be able to pass on to the students of the course what I learned. In addition, it is an opportunity to learn more every day”, she says..
When talking about Instituto Ramacrisna, you notice the sparkle in Raissa’s eyes, talking about the importance it has in her life, for the friendships, relationships and bonds she has built. From how she found herself in audiovisual and especially in photography, how she gets excited about everything that involves creativity and this she manages to develop all the time in her day to day work.
But it doesn’t stop there: Raíssa dreams of going to college in the area and continuing her career in audiovisual. “This is my starting point, this is where the path of opportunities begins and I intend to follow it”, she dreams.
