FIFE 2024 Reveals Schedule

A reference in Brazil and Latin America, the Forum will gather leaders, managers, and professionals from the Third Sector from April 23rd to 26th in Belo Horizonte. April marks the 11th edition of the Inter-American Philanthropy and Strategic Forum, which this year will be held from April 23rd to 26th in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The event’s schedule is now available online.
Featuring a diverse agenda and renowned speakers, the Forum provides a space for learning and exchanging experiences, highlighting sector trends and challenges. Among the various presentations at FIFE, the Opening Keynote stands out, to be delivered by the CEO of Rede Filantropia, Marcio Zeppelini (Zeppa), setting the tone for the event. For instance, he will emphasize the importance of philanthropy and social entrepreneurship in promoting sustainable development.
The afternoon roundtable discussions will also be a major highlight, particularly due to the topics to be addressed, such as “Exemptions and immunities for CSOs – updates and impacts for the Third Sector (ITCMD, Cebas, among others)”; “Artificial intelligence and the Third Sector: impacts and opportunities”; “Tax reform and its impacts on the Third Sector”; “ESG and Third Sector organizations”. Other highlights will include roundtables on “Private Social Investment and relationship with the Third Sector”, “The importance of volunteering in CSO management”, “Auditing and accountability: ensuring transparency in the Third Sector”, and “Cebas, its changes, and relevant discussions about certification”.
Furthermore, it’s worth noting that Solange Bottaro, the vice-president of Ramacrisna, is also part of the lineup. She will participate in the lecture “The Role of Governance and Partnerships in building a Third Sector that generates positive social impact”, scheduled for April 25th at 12 pm.
“FIFE 2024 will provide an enriching environment for knowledge sharing and networking, reaffirming the commitment of Rede Filantropia and its partners to promote the strengthening of CSOs, aiming for positive changes in communities and society as a whole,” says executive director Thaís Iannarelli.
