In 2021 alone, the organization qualified 1,833 young people and adults for the job market, in various courses
The Instituto Ramacrisna has vacancies for a new training course that is highly demanded by the job market: AutoCAD. Applications are open until May 31 and are open to people who meet the following requirements: be between 16 and 35 years of age, have basic computer skills and be at least in high school. To apply, interested parties must present an identity card, CPF, proof of address and proof of schooling, in addition to participating in a selection process on June 1st.
The course will be in person and will take place at FabLab Ramacrisna, a digital fabrication laboratory opened in April at the Institute. There are only 25 laboratories of this type throughout the country, three of them in Minas Gerais, all in the capital. This is the first in Brazil to operate in a Rural Area, in the Santo Afonso neighborhood, in Betim.
‘The new AutoCAD course meets the objective of the space: to offer qualification in technology, a hot area in the market. With 500m2, the FabLab has the most advanced and modern technology and innovation, such as 6 3D printers, 5 virtual reality glasses and a CNC Laser Cut Router, 18 tablets, computers and 8 lego kits for Practice of Educational Robotics.
The course – There will be 20 students per class, who will learn to develop technical drawing pieces in two dimensions, notions of geometry, Cartesian plane, angle, orthogonal projection, differences between 2D and 3D interfaces, among many other contents. Participants receive teaching materials, uniforms and a certificate at the end of the course. Transportation expenses are the responsibility of each student.
AutoCAD is used in areas such as mechanical and civil engineering, for the development of projects and technical drawings. It is also widely used in architecture, interior design, mechanical engineering and various other branches of industry.
Transformation of lives – Through professional qualification courses, Instituto Ramacrisna has impacted the lives of teenagers, young people and adults, residents of Betim and 13 other municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, where it operates. According to Solange Bottaro, vice president of the organization, “qualified people, after becoming qualified, can more easily win a place in the world of work, improving the lives of families and the community in general”. In 2021, there was a 198% increase in the offer of training courses, with 1833 qualified students.
