Students from the Ramacrisna Institute lead a campaign against dengue fever.

The students from the Ramacrisna Educational Support Center (CAER) are ready to take the lead in the fight against dengue fever. Next Wednesday, March 20th, they will conduct an educational blitz at the Institute and in the community as part of an intensive campaign to combat the proliferation of the mosquito that transmits the disease.

The educational blitz will engage Institute staff and students, as well as residents of the area. The aim is to disseminate crucial information about the necessary precautions regarding the disease and preventive measures. During the action, educational pamphlets containing guidance on how to identify and report irregularities that may contribute to the increased risk of mosquito proliferation will be distributed.

Cleide Santos, coordinator of the Ramacrisna Institute Library, emphasizes the institution’s commitment to combating dengue fever, involving students in a playful and awareness-raising way. “We are committed to turning dengue prevention into a meaningful educational experience for our students. Through the educational blitz, we are preparing young people to be agents of change in their communities. Our goal is to combat dengue fever, but also to promote a culture of responsibility and care for the environment and public health,” she says.
