Ramacrisna wins Seal Donate 2021

For the second consecutive year, the Ramacrisna Institute was awarded the A+ Seal by Doar Institute, which audits and recognizes civil society organizations that follow international parameters of management and transparency. Ramacrisna obtained 50 points out of the 52 possible evaluated, which guaranteed him the highest score awarded by the Seal.

Among the criteria evaluated are items such as Governance, Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, Communication, Accountability and Transparency. The vice president of Ramacrisna, Solange Bottaro, celebrated the certificate: “This year, several new criteria were added and it is very gratifying to realize that we meet the required quality standards with excellence. This is, without a doubt, an important recognition and a great incentive to the work of the entire team involved”.

Since 1984, continuous management improvement has been one of the focuses of Ramacrisna Institute. As of 2008, in partnership with Dom Cabral Fundation, managers began to leverage the institution’s management strategies, develop a systemic vision in governance and promote training for the implementation of management tools and improvement of internal processes.

The effort was not in vain. In the last four years, Ramacrisna was among the 100 best NGOs in Brazil and in 2018 it was elected the best Social Assistance Organization in the country. In addition, in 2020 it received the seal NGO Transparent, whose objective is to attest to the transparency of information provided by social organizations through the web. This recognition drew the attention of companies and financing agencies, including international ones that started to support the Institution. “All these awards and seals are essential for sponsors, supporters and donors to find free and adequate information for decision making, since Brazil has almost 800 thousand social organizations”, highlights Solange.
