Free manicure and pedicure course: learn how to enroll

The program offers 80 class hours, a complete kit upon completion, and prepares students to provide care, apply nail polish, decorate nails, and promote the well-being of hands and feet

Working in the beauty industry can be an option for those seeking a career with the flexibility to work in various settings. Salons, nail studios, in-home services, and even running your own business are among the possible paths for those who train in this field. For those looking to get started, taking a free manicure and pedicure course offers an opportunity for professional training at no cost to the student.

The work goes far beyond just applying nail polish. Professionals need to know nail care techniques, hygiene procedures, shaping, cuticle care, and moisturizing, as well as how to provide a service that also involves relaxation and well-being. Therefore, proper training can help those just starting out build the confidence needed to enter the beauty industry.

Why take a free manicure and pedicure course?

Well-groomed and polished nails can enhance the appearance of the hands and contribute to a more harmonious look. Therefore, professionals must take into account the characteristics and needs of each client. The service involves techniques for shaping, cuticle care, moisturizing, applying nail polish, and decorating the nails.

In addition, relaxation and wellness treatments for hands and feet can be a key differentiator for attracting more clients. This body of knowledge is a fundamental part of the training for anyone who wishes to work as a manicurist and pedicurist.

This variety allows students to develop a broader repertoire of services to offer in the beauty industry. By learning different procedures, they can also identify which skills they wish to refine later and which services they intend to offer clients.

How much does a manicurist and pedicurist earn?

The pay for those working as manicurists and pedicurists can vary significantly depending on their business model, experience, number of clients, and the services offered. For those just starting out, the range can be between R$ 1,200 and R$ 3,500 per month, according to Portal Salário.

Those working as employees or beginners at a salon can earn between R$ 1,200 and R$ 1,800 per month, in addition to potential commission-based pay. At some salons, the commission can range from 40% to 60% of the price of each service, depending on the salon’s policy.

On the other hand, those who work independently or provide in-home services may have a different earnings range. In this case, the professional sets the price for their own services and can earn between R$ 2,000 and R$ 5,000 per month, depending on the number of appointments, the prices charged, and their dedication to the work

But it’s possible to earn even more. Professionals who invest in additional training, such as stretching and gel nail application, can expand the range of services they offer and work as nail designers. With a full schedule, this role can generate estimated monthly revenue of between R$ 4,000 and R$ 8,000.
