Children’s Day week combines fun with support for families during the school break

Students will have full-time activities during the school break, and the special program will continue through the 23rd

With Children’s Day approaching, families’ routines are also changing. While students are on school break, many parents and guardians continue to work and need to find ways to balance the days without school with their work schedules. In Betim, students at the Center for Learning and Essential Experiences (NAVE), part of the Ramacrisna Institute, will have a special program.

To celebrate Children’s Day and make this time more enjoyable, NAVE students will have a special program throughout the month of October. The first activity takes place this Saturday, the 10th, with the Children’s Party, which will also bring together students from the Marimbá/Ramacrisna Soccer School. From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Ramacrisna Institute’s sports court will feature soap soccer, an inflatable slide, a trampoline, and plenty of games, as well as popcorn and cotton candy. The event will be a time for students to socialize and have fun.

From October 13 to 16, the institution will offer full-day activities. These activities were designed to ensure fun while maintaining their educational focus. Games, play, and interactive activities will be used as tools to foster social interaction, creativity, cooperation, and other skills essential for the development of children and adolescents.

For NAVE coordinator Sueli Aparecida, the goal is to take advantage of the holiday period to provide moments of relaxation without neglecting educational objectives. “Children also learn when they play, experiment, interact, and participate in activities that are different from their routine. That’s why we designed a program that offers fun but also contributes to their development and social interaction,” she explains.

In addition to offering students a different kind of week, the program provides support for families who need to maintain their work routines during school break. With full-time care, parents can count on a safe space and planned activities for their children while they attend to their professional commitments. “We know this period can be a challenge for many families. Parents aren’t always able to take time off work at the same time as their children or have someone to watch them during the day. So, our goal is for them to be able to work with peace of mind, knowing that their children are here, participating in activities, socializing, and enjoying this time,” Sueli points out.

The celebration continues the following week. From October 19 to 23, students will enjoy a special snack program featuring a variety of treats prepared just for them. The idea is to wrap up the celebrations with a week of delicious flavors and moments of togetherness. “It’s a way to extend the celebration and create cherished memories. We want them to feel valued and enjoy every moment of this program,” adds the coordinator.
