From young apprentice to professional: Discover Jaciely Oliveira’s journey

Inside Ramacrisna tells the story of Jaciely, who has been with the Institute since childhood

Did you know that many of Ramacrisna’s employees have benefited from a project run by the Institute? This is the case of Jaciely Oliveira, who works in the Accountability sector. She has participated in several of the Institute’s initiatives and began her career as a young apprentice, thanks to Ramacrisna.

Find out more about her story below:

The start as a young apprentice

Jaciely’s journey at Ramacrisna began when she was still a child. She attended courses at Antenados Produtora and the Ramacrisna Choir. Years later, in 2008, she took an important step in her life by taking part in the Young People of the Future course. It was during the course that she was given the opportunity to work as a young apprentice at Enarpe Administração, a company located in the Paulo Camilo neighborhood.

Balancing a demanding work routine, complementary courses – including IT – and evening studies was challenging, but also rewarding. “It was a difficult period, but a great social, financial and emotional achievement for a young woman like me,” recalls Jaciely. It wasn’t easy, as she lived in the Marimbá neighborhood and had to take two buses to work. Even so, she never gave up.

When the apprenticeship period came to an end, Jaciely still didn’t know what direction to take. But she knew she could find some direction at Ramacrisna. It was during a staff café at the Institute that everything changed.

Special invitation

Jaciely had been invited to share her experience as a young apprentice. During her presentation, she was surprised by the Institute’s superintendent, Américo Amarante Neto, who invited her to join the team. So, in January 2010, she started working at Ramacrisna, on the reception desk.

Since then, her career has been full of learning and growth both inside and outside the Institute. Jaciely has worked in various sectors, became an instructor for apprentices and now works in the Accounts Payable sector. “With this opportunity, I was able to gain my financial independence, study Business Administration and even start a Psychology course,” she says with emotion. She also took part in other courses that helped her stand out professionally.

Jaciely is currently celebrating her achievements. Married and the mother of a little girl, she is proud of everything she has built. “I love my work. I feel that what I do helps a lot of people and I try to do my best every day,” she says. Her story inspires young people to believe in the power of education and determination to change their lives.

Hire an apprentice

Like Jaciely, there are many young people who can have their stories transformed with the Adolescent Apprentice project. Ramacrisna’s project prepares young people for the job market with comprehensive training that combines theory and practice. It also gives them professional experience so that they can stand out in the job market.

To join the project, teenagers take part in a preparatory course called Youth of the Future. In the classes, participants learn essential skills such as communication, teamwork and IT, as well as developing specific competencies for the corporate environment. After this stage, the apprentices are ready to be hired by partner companies, where they have the chance to apply the knowledge they have acquired and gain professional experience.

In addition to technical training, the project promotes social and financial inclusion, impacting the lives of young people and their families. Throughout the process, Ramacrisna offers support, ensuring that apprentices have access to real opportunities for growth. For many, as in the case of Jaciely Oliveira, the program is the start of a transformative trajectory that opens doors to the future.
