Education / Professionalization
Vocational training is a great option to stand out in the job market. With a duration shorter than an undergraduate course, these activities help with the curriculum, job placement and entrepreneurship.
According to IBGE data, Brazil has 9.5 million people looking for a job. Therefore, seeking professional qualification is essential to have a greater chance.
One of Ramacrisna’s objectives is to prepare young people for the future, helping them to find their talent. For this, the Institute has not only educational projects, which help in the search for a job in the medium and long term, but also professional courses.

Vocational courses provide training for those looking for a first opportunity in the job market, in addition to improvement and updating for those who already have a professional experience.
In times of economic crisis and unemployment, it is necessary to seek alternatives to highlight the curriculum. Through vocational courses, it is possible for students to acquire knowledge to work in a particular profession, with the focus being on practice.
Although the labor market is increasingly competitive, the lack of qualification in certain areas leaves thousands of job vacancies open throughout Brazil.
As opportunities are not the same for all layers of society, it is necessary to include, mainly, the vulnerable population in activities that seek professionalization.
For decades, Ramacrisna has offered courses in several areas, for young people and adults in socially vulnerable situations who need to qualify in the search for a job. The courses promoted by the Institute cover several areas, ranging from the most traditional to technology activities, held at FabLab Ramacrisna.
Among the many Ramacrisna projects that focus on professionalization, we highlight some:
Curso de Eletricista/ Fotovoltaica (Electrician / Photovoltaic Course)
The Electrician course at Ramacrisna is aimed at people aged between 18 and 40 and aims to train professionals to work in various residential electrical processes, with emphasis on installing residential standards, assembling and maintaining photovoltaic panels.

In this activity, the student works on knowledge of assembly, installation and maintenance of computers, focusing on software and hardware problems. Another relevant point about the project is that the student develops training in technical support for local computer networks and equipment configuration.
